Meghan and Harry said it was "concerning" that "certain European paparazzi appear unwilling to respect the privacy of children at school".

Prince Harry has issued a furious statement and slammed as "extraordinarily reckless" after two press photographers seen monitoring the grounds of Archie and Lilibet’s UK school.

The Duke issued the statement via his spokesman.

The Spokesperson said, "There is a world of difference between legitimate media activity and photographers walking the perimeter of a school, stopping to look into the grounds and monitoring children.”

The spokesman added, it was "concerning" that "certain European paparazzi appear unwilling to respect the privacy of children at school".

“Whatever photographs they may have been seeking, this was not only an unacceptable intrusion into the privacy of children; it was an irresponsible and ill-considered way to conduct themselves in the vicinity of a school,” it concluded.

According to a report by the People, two young men carrying backpacks were observed by both Meghan and Harry’s private security and school staff walking the perimeter of the school, stopping at various points and looking into the grounds.

The alleged photographers were initially seen separately before being seen together and returning to a white van, which police later determined was a rental vehicle.

Police have identified one of them — via a driver’s license used to hire the rented vehicle — as an international photographer working for a European press agency.
