Jimmy Kimmel’s days at ABC ‘could be numbered’

Jimmy Kimmel’s ABC future sparked fresh buzz.

Ahead of Jimmy Kimmel’s ABC contract expiration, questions arose over his future at the network, as per Radar Online.

However, the network shut down the rumors of the host’s departure, and called them "inaccurate."

"Any reports about the future of the show at this point are purely speculative," the network stated.

It is worth noting here that the veteran late night host’s contract extends until May 2027.

Speaking on the matter, a source told the outlet, "In other words," it continued, "he's a dead man walking. His days could be numbered.”

For those unaware, the comedian and TV host has been at the centre of controversy after his comments about the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who called out for Jimmy’s dismissal following his controversial remarks. However, ABC temporarily suspended him.

The Jimmy Kimmel show first premiered on January 26, 2003, and Jimmy has been a part of the show since then, marking more than 23 years as the host of the show.

As for now, Jimmy took his annual summer break from the popular late night show, during which several guest hosts took over hosting duties, including Tiffany Haddish, Ike Barinholtz, Colman Domingo, Anthony Anderson, and Rosie O’Donnell.
