The royal expert said Meghan Markle is a ‘sophisticated media operator’
A royal expert has revealed the reason why Meghan Markle did not join her husband Prince Harry for first major event in Britain after returning here with their children.
Royal expert Rob Shuter, citing the insiders, has disclosed in his latest piece for Naughty But Nice substack that the Duchess was not ‘ready.’
Prince Harry attended Thursday’s Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards alone, declaring, “Kids are in school. We’re happy,” and saying it was “great to be back on British soil.”
The close confidant says, “Meghan is taking this incredibly slowly. She hasn’t forgotten how brutal things became the last time she lived here. Before she steps in front of British cameras again, she needs to feel completely comfortable being back.”
Those close to Meghan has insisted that the Duchess is deliberately keeping a low profile while Archie and Lilibet settle into their new routine.
“Her first appearance will be photographed, dissected and debated around the world,” the source says. “She knows the stakes and isn’t rushing anything.”
Fair enough. But insiders suspect there’s more to it.
The insider said Meghan is a ‘sophisticated media operator’. She knows her first official British appearance will be enormous global news — which makes that moment incredibly valuable.
The Duchess knows exactly how much attention that first appearance will generate, therefore, “She’s going to make it count.”
