YouTube Premium prices to rise up to 15% from September

YouTube Premium subscribers in several countries are about to pay more for their ad-free viewing.

Google has confirmed fresh price rises across parts of Europe and Singapore, with the new rates landing on bills from 23 September 2026.

Increases amount to about 10-15% per region. In some European countries, the price of an individual plan will increase from €13.99 to €15.99, while in Finland, subscribers will have to pay from €14.99 to €16.99 for the service.

In Romania, the individual subscription plan cost will increase from RON 29 to RON 32 per month.

In Singapore, the price of the individual plan will rise from $13.98 to $15.98. Also, the price for the Singapore Family plan will grow from $27.98 to $31.98, which is among the highest increases within this period.

As was mentioned above, YouTube Premium had already been increased in its price several months ago in the United States, where prices could grow by as much as $4 per month. Now, Google decided not to reveal all the details at once; that is why the company releases information about the increased cost gradually.

According to Google, the price increase will be effective from the next billing date on or after 23 September.

YouTube Premium doesn't raise prices often, but when it does, the increases tend to spread across multiple markets within months of each other rather than landing everywhere at once.
