GTA 6 Extended Look to arrive August 27: Here's where you can watch

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to debut its “Extended Look” this month, giving a major surprise for GTA 6 fans.

According to a press release from Rockstar Games on Thursday, Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere on Netflix Thursday, August 27 at 3 p.m. ET.

It will also launch on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site at 9 p.m. ET on August 27.

This is going to be huge news for the GTA VI fans as the Rockstar Games-developed title has been in the making for 13 years. This announcement comes after the opening of GTA 6 pre-orders which are set at $80 for the standard edition.

GTA 6 comes in two editions. The first edition is the standard one at the price of $79.99. It is available in both digital and physical formats, replacing the disc with a download code.

The second is the ultimate one priced at $99.99. It features an exclusive collection of premium in-game items, including vehicles, apparel, weapons and action elements across the game.

As per Rockstar Games’ confirmation, the initial release will completely focus on a single-player experience in the game series, excluding the possibility of multiplayers and online components at this time.

The announcement comes on the heels of speculations related to delaying GTA 6. A former Rockstar developer revealed that GTA 6 November release is not guaranteed yet. He noted that the studio’s uncompromising standard for polish means last-minutes issues could cause a delay. But fans showed hope and optimism.

In a recent press release, the company confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming November 19 to PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S.
