Claude AI is experiencing an outage, with thousands of users reporting problems with chat, app access, website connectivity and login services. According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, thedata shows a sharp spike in complaints as users encounter failed conversations and service disruptions.

According to the tracking website, the Claude outage spiked sharply around 3:33am ET (7:33am UTC) on Thursday after remaining relatively stable over the previous 24 hours.

The outage-tracking platform recorded more than 2,500 complaints as users flagged problems across several Claude services.

Acknowledging the issue Claude has given an update stating on its status website that “We have identified the cause of the issue affecting Claude.ai and are working on a fix. We will provide an update as soon as possible.”
