Taylor Swift shares BMI Songwriter of the Year with Sabrina Carpenter
On the shelf of Taylor Swift's trophies, another gong was added after she won BMI's Songwriter of the Year.
It is the third consecutive time the Carolina hitmaker has won the award.
Swift won the honour for the first time at just 20 at the 2010 BMI Country Awards, making her the youngest artist to win the songwriting gong.
Her winning was credited to a string of wild hits such as You Belong With Me, White Horse, Fifteen, and Best Days of Your Life.
Over a decade later, Swift is still reigning the charts with smash-hit tracks and global stardom.
