Taylor Swift finds awkward comparison with Meghan Markle ‘absolutely mortifying’

Taylor Swift's wedding sparked a surprising Meghan Markle comparison.

It's been around 2 months since Taylor Swift married to Travis Kelce, however, their sensational wedding was compared to the Duchess of Sussex's wedding and it is said that the singer is displeased by the comparison.

It is worth noting here that Taylor's wedding guest list included around 1,000 people, featuring most of the Hollywood stars like Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson with many others.

Previously, the stand-up comedian, Nikki Glaser made a comment that she got the invitation to Taylor and Travis’ wedding but she barely knew them, stating, “I got the text inviting me to the wedding — I never thought in a million years I’d get invited. I don’t even know them, but I got invited.”

Speaking on the matter an insider revealed that “Taylor is furious with Nikki, but the worst part is that it’s true.”

“Nikki simply said publicly what everyone was whispering privately,” it added.

A source revealed to Naughty But Nice with Rob Shutter a surprising comparison being made between the two celebrity weddings, saying, “The joke going around is that Meghan Markle knew the celebrities at her wedding better than Taylor knew some of hers.”

They added that this contrast is “absolutely mortifying” for the hitmaker.

Noting, “Nikki made the wedding sound less like a celebration and more like celebrity casting.”

The source further noted about the guest that “they attended her wedding then went right back to being strangers.”

However, Nikki had also pointed out an unusual detail of Taylor's star-studded wedding, “It was interesting because some of these celebrities were alone, and these people are never alone.”

“But, like, J. Lo was alone,” she added

It is pertinent to mention that Taylor and Travis got married on July 13, 2026 while Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot on May 19, 2018.
