JoJo Siwa reflects on family bond as she celebrates 'best year' with beau Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa opened up about a surprising way that has made her bond with her father, Tom Siwa, bond more stronger
In a recent chat with People, the 22-year-old dance pro reflected on her relationship with her father being a celebrity.
“It’s interesting. I feel like a lot of times, people expect child stars and their parents to kind of fall out over time, [but] my parents and I, we've only gotten closer,” she told the outlet at The Snappys, Snapchat’s creator awards show, in California.
She then revealed, “I've recently taken up golf, which has brought me very close to my dad."
“I've found a lot of fun golfing with him and it's been really special because, obviously, my mom and I are so close," she gushed. "You know, she, she is my other half … I shouldn't say she's my other half because technically [my boyfriend] Chris [Hughes] would be my other half, but my mom is my right-hand man throughout everything in my life. And so now to have golfing with my dad's been lovely."
JoJo also spilled about her relationship with boyfriend Chris Hughes as the pair have been dating for almost a year.
“It's been the best year ever. And it's only gonna get better from here. It's only gonna go up from here. But it's so wild to think that it's been a year,” she recalled
“We don't have plans yet,” JoJo said of celebrating their anniversary. “Surely, we'll celebrate somehow. Hopefully we get to be together."
