Jaden Ivey has sparked concern among fans and analysts after posting a series of religious messages and comments on social media.
According to reports, NBA insider Evan Sidery highlighted the situation on X, writing: “There is growing concern surrounding Jaden Ivey.”
He added that the player had been sharing lengthy online videos and had removed most of his social media presence.
“Ivey, who admitted to dealing with depression this year, has deleted all of social media and is now posting hour-long religious rants by himself on Instagram,” Sidery wrote.
In one video, Ivey spoke about faith and judgement, saying: “Y’all don’t take the word of God seriously.”
“…The Lord is not going to say on Judgment Day, ‘What’s the updated score? What’s the score of Purdue Boilermakers? What’s the score of the Detroit Pistons? Jesus is not going to say that on Judgment Day.
“He’s going to say, ‘What did you do for my Kingdom?'”
The Chicago Bulls guard also engaged with fans online, including posts expressing strong views on religion.
