The mole said Prince William believes Andrew needs to suffer ‘serious consequences,’ however, ‘Charles refuses to be pushed.’

The source said the tension between King Charles and William is ‘obvious to everyone’, and it’s only getting worse.

“Charles is aghast that his son has the nerve to try and tell him how to handle this. He’s still the King, and he does not appreciate being pressured by his own son, however passionate William might be about this.”

Moreover, the insiders said amid growing calls for King Charles to abdicate the throne to William, the defiant monarch isn’t willing to give any more power to the Prince of Wales whilst he remains on the throne.

The source claims, “From Charles’ perspective, radical constitutional changes are not something to be done out of emotion or in haste. He feels he’s already taken significant steps and believes the matter should now largely be left to the authorities.”

“He thinks William’s approach is reactionary and he says it does not bode well for the sort of King he’s going to be when the time does come, which Charles insists will still be a long way off.”

The insiders went on saying, “He’s not near ready to surrender authority and he’s very sensitive to anything he sees William doing that appears to be a grab for more power. At the end of the day they’re not just clashing over Andrew, this is about who really steers the ship and runs the monarchy going forward.”
