There are a lot of hard decisions being taken in respect to King Charles especially as fears about his health and longevity have started coming into question. But as for who is faced with this role, its none other than his heir apparent Prince William because as sources reveal, “he’s thinking about the future, not feelings. It’s about protecting the brand.”
For those unversed this has been shared with celebrity news reporter Rob Shuter and according to his findings over on his Substack he believes “Charles may still be King, but William is making the decisions that matter.”
Furthermore, “what is really going on here, of course, is the thing the UK newspapers and the outlets around the world that recycle their copy can’t tell you: power is bleeding from King Charles to Prince William because Charles is dying,”
Similar to Mr Shuter, Author and journalist Tom Sykes also shared similar sentiments because “Prince William is in charge now” and “nobody in the British media can risk saying that. Yet. This always happens when a monarch is terminally ill: the heir’s instincts start to shape outcomes long before the formal transfer of authority arrives.”
As for what the current status of King Charles’ cancer stands, no update has come since December when it was revealed that the King will be able to reduce the frequency of his treatments starting from the New Year.
The answer to this is being kept under wraps by the Palace however, what is known is that it is not prostate cancer, a woe that plagued his own father for over eight years.
