“We greatly appreciate our Glenville neighbors’ patronage for the past 10 years and look forward to continuing to serve them at our 5 other restaurant locations in the Albany area,” Stephanie Griffin, vice president of marketing for T.L. Cannon, said.

The company said all team members and managers at the Glenville site have been offered positions at nearby Applebee’s restaurants.

Other locations in the region include restaurants in Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, Queensbury, Latham, Rensselaer, Johnstown, Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Brewster, Middletown and Newburgh.

The Glenville closure follows other recent Applebees closures in the area, including Glenmont in 2023 and Hudson in 2024.

The Glenville restaurant will remain open daily until its final day of service. Customers can check store hours or place orders online through the location’s webpage.
