A former reality TV star is facing a long list of criminal charges after being accused of withdrawing money from her ex-employer’s bank account.
Leida Margaretha, who appeared on the US reality show 90 Day Fiancé, has been charged with 24 offences in Wisconsin linked to an alleged fraud worth more than $14,000, reports Nexstar’s WFRV.
According to a criminal complaint, the owner of a central Wisconsin business contacted police in February last year after spotting suspicious withdrawals from the company’s bank account.
Investigators say the transactions were traced back to Margaretha, a former employee who left the firm in January 2023 following a dispute with management.
Prosecutors allege Margaretha used account access she had retained from her previous role to make the withdrawals. The total amount allegedly taken was $14,473.92.
At the time, Margaretha was already out on bond in a separate case, with strict conditions requiring her not to commit further offences. Police say those conditions were breached.
She now faces multiple felony charges including fraud, forgery, theft from a business and bail jumping. Court records show she is due to make her first appearance on February 18.
Margaretha appeared in sixth season of 90 Day Fiancé between 2018 and 2019.
