Nancy Guthrie update: Officials have yet to link lights at Tucson home to her case

With Nancy Guthrie still missing and the police investigation yet to find her, theories on the internet continue to abound.

The latest one stems from a video clip shared by YouTube creator Lauren Serpa.

According to her, she was driving to the memorial near Nancy's house in Tucson late at night when she spotted lights turned on there.

Instantly, the video creator said she pulled out her phone and recorded it.

The clip she posted, however, was grainy at best. But it set the internet on fire as crime junkies and other social media users began speculating on why the lights were on if no one was supposed to be at the home.

But the Pima County Sheriff's Department has not yet issued an official response.

Meanwhile, frustration against the authorities is mounting as no suspect has been arrested yet.

Chris Nanos, who is heading the investigation, previously said his department is working strenuously on evidence, including DNA collected from Nancy's home.

"We have so much DNA to sort through," he told TODAY.

Nanos added, "These are labs all across the country that are talking to one another about how best to look at what they have in front of them for DNA evidence."

"And, so I'm still positive we will resolve this case. We're working this as hard as we can. There's no lead too small," he noted.

Nancy, meanwhile, has disappeared since Feb. 1.
