Lindsay Clancy trial: Lone holdout juror faces threats, lawyer claims
The lone holdout juror has been persistent in his view that Lindsay Clancy is guilty
The trial of Lindsay Clancy has become a hot-button issue, with emotions running high on apparently both sides of the aisle.
The prime example is Michael P. Desronvil, the lone holdout juror.
He disagreed with his fellow jurors about Clancy's guilt. Based on the evidence and the prosecution's testimony, he believed the mom of three was aware of her actions.
This was contrary to what her legal team was arguing, claiming she had postpartum psychosis when she killed her three kids.
But now, when P. Desronvil publicly shared his position, his lawyer claimed he faced death threats, doxxing, and harassment.
In response, independent journalist Tom Hennessy set up a fundraiser for him called Stand With the Juror.
According to the New York Post, the fundraiser has raised over $330,000, including a $10,000 donation from an anonymous donor.
P.DesRonville lawyer Edward Paltzik, who is the former attorney of President Trump, said the money was raised “to cover necessities in the wake of the death threats, doxxing, and harassment by the lunatic mob that he has so courageously withstood.”
Paltzik then said, “American Hero & Champion of Justice," and confirmed that 100% (ALL) of your generous donations on ‘Stand With the Juror’ will go directly to Michael. 0% (ZERO) will go to lawyers.”
Clancy's next hearing is set for Sept. 29.
