Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are reportedly preparing for a big trip to the United States amid disappointing news for Meghan Markle and Harry.
The insider, described as being "in the know", told Page Six that sources are hoping all the senior royals will travel over in what is expected to be a "huge year" for both the US and the UK.
There are also reports King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit the United States on the invitation of President Donald Trump next year.
According to a report by The Sun, the monarch will visit the United States next April in a historic trip to celebrate the country’s 250th birthday.
The sources say, “We’re hoping all the senior royals will come over.
“This is going to be a huge year for both the US and the UK.”
The outlet further said US President Donald Trump plans to host King Charles in a lavish State visit planned for the spring — if the monarch’s health allows him to travel.
The insiders in both Washington DC and London have claimed that the plans being negotiated include a visit to the White House in late April.
It is also expected that Queen Camilla will accompany King Charles on the trip.
The royal visit will be a “major moment” in the run-up to the July 4 Independence Day celebrations.
Amid these reports, the Page Six claims however, Montecito-based Prince Harry and Meghan won’t be on the guest list.
The insiders tell the publication, “Obviously the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t working royals, so they will not be invited to any celebrations.
“Any invitation would have to come at the behest of the royal family themselves.”
Harry and Meghan, who are no longer working members of the royal family, have been living in California since 2020.
