Lucius Q BBQ restaurant has announced to cut ties with one of its co-owner’s controversial comments on the tragic shooting death of Charlie Kirk.
Aaron Sharpe, the co-owner, online commented on the death of conservative activist, calling it "Good riddance! What a piece of s—.”
After the insensitive remarks, the Cincinnati’s BBQ restaurant has announced on Facebook post its decision to sever ties with Aaron.
“Aaron Sharpe is no longer associated with Lucius Q. We found the comments he made on his personal social media pages offensive and, as a result, have severed ties with him,” the post read.
In the aftermath of controversial comments, TQL stadium also decided to end its vendor relationship with Lucius Q restaurant.
The organisers of TQL issued a statement, “"We were founded on the idea that soccer unites, and we remain committed to ensuring that FCC is for all and that we provide a safe and welcoming environment for our patrons. "Toward that end, we have terminated our relationship with Lucius Q."
Charlie Kirk, key ally of Donald Trump and known for his work with Turning Point USA, was brutally assassinated while speaking during an event at Utah Valley University where he was shot dead.
