Karisma Kapoor’s son, Kiaan Kapoor, was seen breaking down in tears during the final rituals of his father, Sunjay Kapur.
Kiaan, who was born to Karisma and Sunjay in 2011 appeared visibly emotional during his father’s farewell ceremony held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi.
In the viral images, the Dil Toh Pagal Hai actress is seen confronting her son.
The 14-year-old was dressed in a traditional white ensemble at the cremation on Thursday, June 19.
Meanwhile, Karisma’s sister Kareena Kapoor Khan attended the ceremony with her husband, Saif Ali Khan, to pay their final respects.
Sunjay, the chairman of Sona Comstar, tragically passed away on Thursday, June 12.
The prominent businessman reportedly suffered a massive heart attack while playing polo in the UK, leading to his death at the age of 53.
A source close to the family told Pinkvilla that a prayer meet is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 22 at the Taj Hotel.
Karisma, 50, and Sunjay tied the knot in 2003 and welcomed their first child, Samaira, after two years.
However, the couple decided to part ways in 2016 after 13 years of togetherness.
For the unversed, Sunjay later married Priya Sachdev in 2017.
