Bollywood legend Dharmendra has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, leaving fans deeply concerned about his health.
The 89-year-old actor is under constant medical care as doctors continue to monitor his condition closely.
Rumours earlier claimed that the legendary star has been put on ventilator support, which quickly spread panic among his followers.
His wife, Hema Malini, later took to X to clear the air and share an emotional note. “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation.”
The actress continued, “He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him,” she wrote. “I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.”
Soon after her post, Dharmendra’s family rushed to the hospital, with Sunny Deol and Tanya Deol were spotted entering the building.
Karan and Rajveer Deol were also seen arriving to be by their grandfather’s side.
Sources also told IANS that the actor is being closely watched by a team of top doctors. Though the exact reason for his hospital stay was not shared, but many believe that it started as a routine check-up that required extended care.
However, fans are now hoping for his fast recovery as the veteran’s 90th birthday approaches on December 8.
Known for his charm and iconic screen presence, Dharmendra remains one of the most loved stars in Bollywood.
Earlier this year, he appeared in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
For the unversed, Dharmendra’s upcoming movie Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, is set to release in December, just in time for his milestone birthday.
