Alia Bhatt is all set to make her debut at Cannes 2025 as the global ambassador of L’Oréal Paris.
The Indian actress, who garnered recognition for her versatile performances, will appear at the festival in May 2025.
Expressing her excitement, the 32-year-old star shared her thoughts on entering a new chapter of her career.
Speaking exclusively, she said, “There’s something absolutely special about firsts – and I’m so excited to make my Festival de Cannes debut this year, an iconic celebration of cinema and self-expression. It is such an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’”.
While defining the idea of beauty, the Jigra actress added, “To me, beauty is about celebrating individually, confidence, and self-worth. It’s limitless, it’s unique. I’m proud to stand with a brand that celebrates every woman’s journey and empowers them to shine in their own light.”
At Cannes 2025, which will run from May 13 to 24, Alia will be accompanied by veteran Cannes attendee Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has also been active on red carpet events in India, recently attending WAVES summit in Mumbai, where she wore a traditional Pathani sari in celebration of Maharashtra Day.
Meanwhile, Alia is set to star in Yash Raj’s Alpha, slated for release on Christmas 2025.
For the unversed, the celebrity will also appear alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
