Sonu Sood has released an official statement after he gets accused in a fraud case.
Reportedly, an arrest warrant has been issued against the producer in an INR 10 lakh fraud.
Therefore, the Dabangg actor gave out a statement clarifying the matter.
According to Sood, the matter is 'highly sensationalized' and he has no association with it.
“We need to clarify that the news circulating on social media platforms is highly sensationalised.”
He mentioned: “To put matters straight, we were summoned as a witness by the Honourable Court in a matter pertaining to a third party to which we have no association or affiliation.”
The 51-year-old stated that him and his legal team will release an official statement on February 10 to clarify Sonu's 'non-involvement' in the matter.
"We are neither brand ambassadors nor are we associated in any way. This is just for unnecessary media attention to grab eyeballs.”
The Entertainment actor also expressed his disappointment over how celebrities have become a soft target.
“It is sad that celebs become soft targets. We will take strict action in this matter.”
Meanwhile, Sonu was recently seen in film Fateh alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Shivjyoti Rajput, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vijay Raaz.
