Julia Michaels, the American singer-songwriter, gushed over her close friend Sabrina Carpenter during the red-carpet of 2025 Grammy Awards.
In conversation with People Magazine, theWhat a Time crooner shared her excitement for the event, as she said, "I'm so excited. I'm always so happy to be here and get to root for my friends. And Sabrina is nominated for album [of the year] tonight, and if she wins, it'll be my first Grammy."
"So fingers crossed. I believe in her so much," the Apple singer continued.
Carpenter, who have now won the Best Pop Vocal Album and the Best Pop Solo Performance for Espressoat the music’s biggest night, took help from Michaels in writing down five songs, including Taste, Good Graces, Coincidence, Bed Chem, and Dumb & Poetic.
Michaels further told the outlet that she's "fully aware of the fact that I'm here [at the Grammys] because of her."
"I just want to love on her all night," she says. "I love her so much. I'm so happy for her."
Michaels also shared how she pens a song.
"It depends, honestly, it depends on if I'm by myself or if I'm with an artist. If I'm with an artist, I'm really there for them," said Julia Michaels. "It's a full act of service."
