Ranveer Singh once revealed that his wife-actress Deepika Padukone wasn't particularly fond of their chemistry.
During an old interview with Filmfare, the 38-year-old Bollywood actor discussed his wife Deepika's views on their on-screen chemistry, revealing that she believes they both appear good with other actors on screen.
The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor said that time, “Deepika is going through her golden period. I had the privilege to act in such close tandem with her in Bajirao Mastani. We have intense romantic scenes together, but Deepika does not think so. However, I think our chemistry is extra special."
"Deepika feels I look better with Anushka (Sharma) and she looks better with Ranbir Kapoor. I am not of that opinion; I have a point to prove to her on that," he added.
Additionally, Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali, who collaborated with Deepika and Ranbir in Tamasha, recently discussed the duo's enthusiasm for acting alongside each other.
He shared, “We were shooting this at a studio. It was a stage that we created and lot of work had happened but this frame where he would enter from a certain place and he would enter from another place and they would be looking at each other from a very close distance."
"It’s a very difficult shot for actors to play because you are seeing them so close and one can’t formulate exactly what your reaction will be when you come so close to another person who belongs to the gender you are attracted to. It was a warm experience for all of us to watch.”
For the unversed, Ranveer and Deepika has collaborated on multiple hits, including Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat.
