Sunny Deol revealed that in his father Dharmendra's absence, he frequently endured beatings from relatives.

The Ziddi actor said, "Papa was strict, we are also strict but Papa used to be so busy in shooting that I rarely saw him as a kid. Since we lived in a joint family with uncles and aunties, we used to interact with them more."

“There is no one in the family who hasn’t beaten me up in the family. I am the result of all that," he added.

Moreover, Sunny also recounted incidents where his mother, Prakash Kaur, would discipline him by administering beatings if he got injured while playing.

The Ghayal star said, “I used to get hurt and my mom would still beat me up with chappal and I would be bleeding.”

On the work front, Sunny Deol was last seen in the film Gadar 2, alongside Ameesha Patel.

He is not set to feature in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore, 1947, produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
