Sonakshi Sinha has disclosed that she will not follow her father, Shatrughan Sinha, into politics, stating that she lacks the aptitude for it.
During a recent interview with Raj Shamani, the 36-year-old actress elaborated that to enter politics, one must possess a "people's person" trait, but she, on the contrary, is a very private individual.
The Dabangg actress also acknowledged her lack of "aptitude" for politics, concluding that there's no sense in joining a political party merely for the sake of it.
Sonakshi said, “All jokes aside, I don’t think I would because I’ve seen my dad do it. I don’t think I have the aptitude for it. My dad is a very people’s person."
"I am a very private person, and you’ve to be a people’s person, you’ve to be there for them and this could be anyone strangers from every part of the country, and I’ve seen my dad do that, so I don’t think I have that in me,” she added.
