Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently shared about a challenging emotional period of his life, mentioning that he was low and depressed.
During the recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the 59-year-old actor disclosed a profoundly meaningful reason behind his decision to appear as a guest.
The 3 Idiots star shared that he experienced a "tough emotional phase" and found solace in Kapil's comedy shows.
Aamir said, “It’s been 11 years, but I am attending it for the first time because my last two to two-and-a-half years have been very tough. I was going through a tough emotional phase."
"During this time, I watched comedy with Kapil and it supported me a lot. You guys made me laugh when I was low and depressed. That is when I felt I should come here,” he added.
Moreover, the Secret Superstar actor discussed his decision to abstain from attending award shows, acknowledging that his last two film ventures were disappointing.
He revealed that despite numerous industry figures seeking his guidance for their children, his own kids refuse to heed his advice.
Regarding his professional endeavors, Aamir Khan will next be seen in the upcoming film, titled Sitaare Zameen Par.
