Kriti Sanon shares female-lead 'Crew' is not about 'male bashing'

Kriti Sanon, who recently starred in the comedy-drama film Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu, shared that the movie was not about 'male bashing.'

In conversation with Elle India, the Heropanti actress said, "When I first heard the script from her (Rhea Kapoor), I knew this wasn’t a manifesto on feminism."

She added, "This wasn’t about male bashing. This was just about the good, clean fun of three women outsmarting the authorities to steal a cachet of gold for themselves."

It is pertinent to mention here that Crew, which hit the theatres on March 29, is running successfully in cinemas globally.

The film has created history as it became the highest opening-day grosser female-lead Hindi movie.

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film has been jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor, Rhea, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit.

Apart from Tabu, Kareena and Kriti, Crew also features Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee.
