Ranbir Kapoor recounted a memorable incident where he shared that his late father, Rishi Kapoor, struck him only once.
During his appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, The 41-year-old actor vividly recalled the incident when Rishi Kapoor admonished him for entering a temple wearing shoes.
While discussing about Rishi Kapoor on the show, the Shamshera actor expressed that if his father raised his voice at someone, it was a sign of his affection towards that individual.
Ranbir explained, said, "He hit me only once, very hard! He was a religious man, and I had entered the temple premises without opening my shoes. So he had hit me on the head."
He then humorously remarked that as a child, it was his mother Neetu who disciplined him, even going so far as to use a hanger on one occasion.
When the show host Kapil inquired whether the Animal actor had changed after marriage, Neetu shared that he has indeed evolved into a better person, placing greater importance on relationships.
On which, Ranbir's sister, Riddhima chimed in and said that since the birth of his daughter Raha, he has transformed into a nurturing and affectionate father.
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 following an extended struggle with cancer in 2020.
