Triptii Dimri shared that she believed people would notice her after her film,Laila Majnu came out but ended up feeling upset when it didn't happen as expected.
During an exclusive interview with ETimes, the 30-year-old actress revealed her experience when her movie Laila Majnu didn't do well at the box office.
Triptii also talked about how she used to live in a rented apartment and do her own chores, like buying vegetables at Pali Market.
The Qala star also mentioned that despite receiving film offers post-Laila Majnu, she didn't find them interesting, instead, she focused on improving her acting skills by attending various workshops, which helped her stay grounded, and eventually, she landed the role in Bulbbul.
However, she remembered facing doubts from many about her transition from theater to OTT, especially since Netflix had recently released 8 Indian films around that time.
Triptii explained, “I said I will do this film no matter what. I love the story. I love the character. And I will do it no matter what happens. It can tank. It can do well. I’m not thinking about all those things. I just want to experience this. And it was this movie that changed everything for me."
On the work front, Triptii was last seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the film, Animal, which was released on December 1, 2023.
The film garnered huge success with grossing over INR 917.82 crore at the worldwide box office and the actress also received appreciation for her performance in the movie.
She will next be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming film, Aashiqui 3, which is set to release in 2024.
