Jacqueline Fernandez recently took to her Instagram Stories to update fans about not being in India after it emerged thata fire broke out in her building.
The Kick actress penned down a long heartfelt note, concerning the recent incident and shared that she is "all safe and unharmed."
She wrote: "Thank you for all the concern and love, as there was a fire at my apartment building last night. Fortunately, we are all safe and unharmed (even the furry friends)."
"Currently, I am in Colombo for the opening of Legends Cricket Trophy. Thank you to the rescue operations that were carried out swiftly, ensuring that everyone was evacuated to safety.
"I want to express my gratitude for your concern and love during this time. Your support means everything to me and has always been my strength! God bless."
This came after Jacqueline's 17-storey building caught fire on Wednesday, March 6.
According to local sources, the fire reportedly broke out in the kitchen on the 13th floor.
An official exclusively told PTI: "The fire broke out in the residential building situated on Nargis Dutt Road at around 8 PM."
The Roy actress immediately made headlines after the video from fire incident went viral.
The Bollywood star, who bought the new residence in 2023, lives in a lavish 5BHK home in the same building.
On professional front, she is currently looking forward to her forthcoming project, Welcome to the Jungle.
The movie is said to be the third installment of the iconic Welcome film franchise.
