Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary join forces in ad 16 years after 'Taare Zameen Par'

Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary come together again after 16 years since their movie Taare Zameen Par.

Taking to his Instagram account on Wednesday, the 26-year-old actor shared a post, featuring a commercial, where the Secret Superstar actor could be seen portraying his grandfather,who has solutions for all his life's challenges.

Moreover, on Tuesday, Darsheel posted a collection of photos featuring Aamir, along with a caption that reads, “It is Aamir’s multiverse, and we’re all just living in it. 3 days to go. #mrperfectionist #masterclass #versatileactor.”

A few days back, he posted a picture from Taare Zameen Par alongside a picture from the ad, and wrote, “16 years later, and we're together again. Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY. All the love to my favorite mentor for the experience. Watch this space for the Big reveal. (sic)”

Fans were excited about Aamir and Darsheel reuniting on screen, but others were disappointed that it was only for a commercial.

For the unversed, Aamir and Darsheel appeared together for the first time in Taare Zameen Par, which wasreleased on December 21, 2007.

In the film, the 58-year-old actor portrayed a mentor while Darsheel played a student with dyslexia.
