Arjun Rampal reflects on career breaks

Arjun Rampal recently revealed the real reason behind taking career breaks after his films Rock On 2 and Kahaani 2.

Reflecting upon his acting choices, the 51-year-old celebrity exclusively told ETimes that he appreciated the “silence” around him.

The Rajneeti actor, who starred alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the latter explained: "It's important to have silence around you, because you're manifesting and wanting something to come to you. There's an innate quality that lies in wanting something."

The D-Day actor then shared that his latest film Crakk, revised the idea of action and instilled positive thoughts in his mind.

He spoke of being emotionally invested in action films despite minimal budgets and opportunities.

He added: "I always wanted to do an action film but unfortunately, we never had those kinds of budgets or opportunities. The movie is an amalgamation of incredible set pieces of action, which I didn't even know existed."

Rampal went on to continue praising the production and director cells respectively, noting: "That's because there's a producer and actor like Vidyut and he excels at it. And then there's a director like Aditya (Aditya Datt) who is so good at executing it. Thanks to Vidyut, I had to raise my game when you're coming on the set, and it's your duty as an actor. So, I had to train hard and it's okay, because you have to work hard for anything in life."

Vidyut Jammwal’s Crakk, was released on February 23, serving as a sports action starrer under Action Hero Films.

The film included a star-studded cast, including Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson, Nora Fatehi, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ankit Mohan among others.
