ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan spoke to media personnel and stated that consular access to Kalbhushan Yadav would not be granted to India since he was an Indian agent.
Speaking to media personnel, Nisar stated that Kalbhushan have arrived in Pakistan for special objectives.
Nisar also warned those who were in possession of fake National Identity Cards that strict action would be taken against them.
"Public will not go through pains for verification of Identity Cards," he said. Speaking on the security situation in Islamabad, Nisar said that it was his wish that check-posts in Islamabad end.
"After six months of monitoring, check-posts in Islamabad would be lessened," he said.
The Federal Interior Minister also claimed that there were certain elements who were against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Pakistan's security forces and intelligence agencies had arrested Kalbhushan Yadav who was allegedly an agent of Indian intelligence agency RAW. He had been arrested from Balochistan and had admitted to carrying out subversive activities in the province to destabilize Pakistan.
India had denied claims that Kalbhushan was an Indian agent and was sent to destabilize Pakistan. The Indian government had demanded consular access to Yadav which Pakistan had rejected a couple of days ago.
