LAHORE: Karachi Kings head coach Dean Jones has backed left-handed batsman Sharjeel Khan and termed him a special player when he is at the top of his game.
The former Australian added his point on Twitter regarding Sharjeel’s fitness after New Zealand’s pacer Mitchell McClenaghan shared his experience being with Sharjeel in Karachi Kings during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5.
“Spot on Mitch!! We smashed him everyday.. gym .. fielding.. the lot! And we have programs in place for @SharjeelLeo14 to continue his fitness work! He is a special player when on song!” Dean Jones tweeted.
