Watch: Humanoid robot takes on supermarket duties in China

DexTeleop Robotics Company, located in Beijing, has installed their TeleAvatar humanoid robot into 7Fresh supermarket of JD and made it perform various real-world activities. 

The robot is capable of offering food, grilling meat on barbecue, re-stocking shelves, de-listing and listing products, cleaning tables, and many more. At the same time, by working in a real environment, the system is also collecting valuable teleoperation data for better functionality of humanoid robots in the future.
