NVIDIA rolls out first open humanoid robot platform for AI researchers

NVIDIA has introduced the Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot, claiming to be the world’s first open humanoid robot reference platform for robotics research. The platform comprises the H2 humanoid robot made by Unitree Robotics, dextrous five-fingered hands developed by Sharpa Robotics, onboard computing by Jetson Thor, and Isaac GR00T software and AI models by NVIDIA.

NVIDIA claims that its full-stack robot will help robotics researchers develop, train and deploy humanoid robots faster.
