King Charles was officially welcomed to his Balmoral Castle to start his stay as their summer break commences.
The monarch inspected troops from Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland outside the gates of Balmoral Castle at the start of his stay at the Scottish residence.
