Annual degree show today
LAHORE: The School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) at Beaconhouse National University (BNU) will open its annual degree show for public display at the university’s Tarogil Campus on Saturday.
According to a press release, the event will showcase work of 89 graduating students which is a culmination of the four-year intensive experience of the multidisciplinary approach that the students learn to explore connections between design, art and other forms of knowledge.
The display will feature the work of students from Visual Arts, Visual Communication Design, Textile and Fiber Studies, Fashion and Fiber Studies and Jewelry and Accessory Design. Guided tours of the theses exhibition have been arranged for the visitors to give them an orientation into the disciplines of Art and Design offered by BNU-SVAD. The degree show will continue from 11am to 6pm daily till July 16.
