Spiritual figure passes away

PESHAWAR: A known spiritual figure, Haji Iqbal-Ud-Din, passed away at the age of 95.

His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the Hayatabad Town in Peshawar and he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Utmanzai village in Charsadda district at a well-attended funeral.

The deceased was the father of Jameel Ahmad, Dr Saeed Ahmad, Muhammad Tariq, Aqeel Ahmad and father-in-law of Zaffar Iqbal.

The spiritual circles expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the nonagenarian figure who had remained associated with Hazrat Faqir Muhammad of Landi Arbab.
