Impressive show
Pakistan put up an impressive show against Bangladesh in the recent T20 series. Two seasoned all-rounders Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez made a comeback in this series; initially their selection was called into question by senior cricketers but they responded to their critics by scoring half- centuries in the first two matches. Haris Rauf, who made a mark through his performance in the Big Bash League, was also impressive on his international debut. In the absence of Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir, our young bowling line up managed to hold Bangladesh to low scores in both matches. Victory in this T20 series is a positive sign for our side. We are hopeful that our side will be a tough opponent for its rivals in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
