Whose fault is it?
This refers to the letter, ‘Killer cars’ (Jan 15), by Arsalan Ahmed. The writer has talked about one of the serious problems of the country: road accidents. I’d like to add that these accidents can easily be avoided if drivers take necessary precautions. Most of the time, these accidents are caused due to a driver’s negligence. People behind the wheels must realise that by breaking traffic rules and driving a vehicle recklessly, they put so many lives in danger.
If you drive at fast speed and hit somebody, will you call it ‘an accident?’ When we are out on the roads, it is our responsibility to drive sensibly. We should take the following steps to minimise the number of road accidents.Don’t drive fast. Follow all traffic rules. Drive a vehicle which is physically fit.
