Two medical store owners convicted

LAHORE
Drug Court Chairman on Tuesday awarded a total four-year jail term to two persons namely Aslam and Nazeer on the charges of running a medical store without licence and selling spurious drugs.
The court has also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on both convict.
A team of health department had raided Nazeer Medical Store located in Salamatpura and asked Nazeer, owner of the store, to show the government licence of selling drugs. However, Nazeer failed to show the licence. On this, drug inspector sealed the store and arrested the owner. Another team of Health Department had arrested Aslam while he was selling spurious drugs.
