Security around churches ensured

LAHORE:On the instructions of IGP Dr Usman Anwar, Punjab Police remained on high alert and ensured comprehensive security during Christian worship and prayer programmes held in churches across the province, including in Lahore.

According to spokesperson, the IGP had issued special directives to all RPOs and DPOs to enhance security arrangements at churches and other sensitive locations. The IGP emphasised that senior supervisory officers must personally inspect the security measures at churches to ensure foolproof safety.
