Iesco provides winter Sahulat package
Islamabad: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has provided the winter ‘Sahulat’ package relief announced by the Federal Government and Ministry of Energy (Power Division) to its esteemed customers in the bills of December 2024 and this relief will also be applied in the electricity bills of January and February 2025, says a press release.
Iesco Chief Executive Muhammad Naeem Jan said that under winter Sahulat package, domestic customers get relief of Rs115.55 million, commercial tariff customers get relief of Rs58.21 million, industrial tariff customers get relief of Rs46.08 million while government connections get relief of Rs46.08 million in the bills of December 2024. In total, in the month of December 2024 Iesco customers have been provided with a winter ‘Sahulat’ package relief of Rs267.28 million. The Iesco chief executive has said that special relief will also be applied in the electricity bills of January 2025 and February 2025 for using additional units in electricity bill.
