The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) successfully completed repair work on the 84-inch water main along University Road on Monday.
In a press statement, the corporation announced that the water supply had been fully restored. Following directives from KWSC CEO Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, engineers and staff worked around the clock to complete the repairs.
According to a spokesperson, the water main had suffered two consecutive bursts, both of which have now been fully repaired. During the repairs, the pipes were also thoroughly cleaned.
