ISLAMABAD: Heavy rain that lashed out twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad may force the cancellation of early morning training of the Pakistan cricket team at the Pindi Stadium while there are serious doubts of any play between in the scheduled one-day match between Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A to be played at the Islamabad Club Ground on Wednesday.
The Club Ground’s drainage system is not ideal as such the ground gets wet and soggy after the rain.
Meanwhile, chances of early morning training of Pakistan and Bangladesh national teams are also remote at the Pindi Stadium. “We may train during the evening session,” one of the officials said.
