Man arrested for killing his brother’s wife
LAHORE:Raiwind Investigation police arrested a man on charges of killing his brother’s wife. The accused Bilal Shah suspected that his sister in-law had an affair with someone, upon which he stabbed her to death.
Four die in road traffic accidents
The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,308 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
In these accidents, four people died, whereas 1,429 were injured.
Out of these, 573 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 856 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams.
Man electrocuted
A 30-year-old man died after being electrocuted near Juma Bazaar, Gujarpura, on Sunday. According to the relatives, Arsalan Mushtaq was installing electrical wiring in the house when he came in contact with a wire and received a severe electric shock. As a result, he died on the spot. The police handed over the body to the heirs.
