Senior citizens’ grievances addressed at open house
Hyderabad: An open house was organised in the District Account Offices of Hyderabad and Jamshoro, aimed at addressing the grievances of senior citizens and pensioners.
During the open house session, Deputy Accountant General Sindh, Mansoor Ali Syal, listened to the issues raised by retired employees from various departments and issued directives for their resolution within the respective offices.
Employees from various departments also submitted complaints regarding pension commutation, GP funds, and leave encashment during the open forum. Speaking to the media, Deputy Accountant General Sindh Mansoor Ali Siyal, stated that this open house initiative was carried out under the directives of the Accountant General Sindh. He highlighted that similar sessions were held in Jamshoro, where the majority of issues raised were related to pension matters.
He acknowledged the challenges posed by the lack of funds from the Sindh government and assured that efforts were underway by the AG Sindh and the Finance Secretary to resolve these issues. Additionally, he mentioned that the department would present recommendations for immediate solutions to the problems encountered.
