THE DUSKY CHARMER

interview

Model-cum-actress Feroza Muhammad aka Rose is beautiful just like her name. She was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. She was educated in Zimbabwe before moving to Pakistan with her family amid unrest in Zimbabwe. Rose started her modelling career with commercials. “I had no plans to come in showbiz, then a few years ago a friend of mine Khurrum called me. At that time he worked for an ad agency and he needed a model for his TVC, he offered me that role and I couldn’t refuse. That’s how I entered into showbiz world,” says Rose. “I am not a ramp model. I have done shoots and commercials but not ramp,” she explains. In 2019, this gorgeous model made her debut in acting with drama serial Dard Rukta Nahi. These days she is showing her acting skills in drama serial Dushman which is written by Ali Moeen and directed by Abdullah Badini. Let’s see what are the likes and dislikes of this dusky charmer…

What do you usually wear in daily life?

I usually wear comfy PJs. I have a beautiful collection of PJs from my favourite brand ‘You’ by Fareeha.

Your favourite brands:

I am not brand conscious so I don’t go after expensive labels. I believe you should look good in whatever you wear, whether it’s branded or not.

What is your favourite thing in your closet right now?

My favourite thing in my closet right now is a cap. It’s very similar to what Jennifer Lopez wore in the movie ‘Hustlers’. It’s my favourite possession. Another favourite thing in my closet is a long black dress that I wear on formal occasions.

Who is your favourite designer?

I pick and choose whatever I like from different designers. However, when it comes to PJs, my all-time favourite designer is Fareeha Aslam.

What is the best/worst purchase you’ve ever made?

I got this amazing serum from The Ordinary, that’s my best purchase. My worst purchase was a top I ordered online. It looked different in the picture and when I got to see it in real, I freaked out as it was not what I wanted.

Your most valuable possession…

A hand written note I received from someone… it’s so rare to get something like that in this era of technology. Such a sweet gesture!

What’s your annoying habit?

I am quite short-tempered. I get angry too quickly.

What is your weirdest fear?

I have a fear of knives. My mom does not keep huge knives in the kitchen.

What bores you the most?

Superficial, two-faced; goody-good people.

You are crazy about…

My workout, going to gym…

What are your favourite restaurants?

‘The Valley’, ‘Big Tree House’,

Your all time favourite movie:

‘The Green Mile’.

What’s the last thing you bought?

An eye brow pencil from High Street Pakistan and this vitamin C cream for the face from The Ordinary. I must say their products are really good.

Favourite models:

Sabeeka Imam, Abeer and Omer Shazad.

You get super uncomfortable when…

When people praise me too much to the point of flattery.

Last picture you took:

I took a selfie this morning.

First pay cheque:

I didn’t have an account so I was paid in cash - a proud moment for me. I gave it to my mom.

Your most favourite accessory…

Framed goggles.

Working out. I spend a lot of time in the gym.

Tell us something about yourself, which very few people know?

I am an introvert. I am not a very social person. I hang out only with close friends.

The most important relationship lesson I have learnt so far…

Don’t play with anyone’s emotions. Not every ‘love you’ is authentic. Don’t trust people quickly. Take your time.
